Real California Milk Thailand’s Pizza Battle 2024 fuses premium California cheese with local Thai ingredients, sending the best chef onto the world stage at the 2025 International Pizza Expo.


Real California Milk Thailand successfully launched the “Real California Pizza Battle Thailand 2024”, a competition aimed at promoting Thai cuisine and pizza on the international stage. The event highlighted the fusion of high-quality California dairy products including cheese and milk with various local ingredients, providing a platform for young chefs to demonstrate their skills and compete for a chance to represent Thailand at the International Pizza Expo 2025 in Las Vegas.

Following the success of California Cheese Train the Trainer Boot Campthe “Real California Pizza Battle Thailand 2024” was held at the Lenôtre School of Culinary Arts. This competition brought together 25 culinary instructors from 15 prestigious culinary institutes from across Thailand, who received extensive training on high-quality California cheese. These instructors then applied their knowledge to further train the students and prepare them for the national competition. Representatives from each of the 15 institutes participated, creating pizzas combining different types of California cheese with local Thai ingredients.

The competition was judged by a panel of culinary experts from the Chefs Association of Thailand, who praised the chefs’ exceptional creativity and expertise. The fusion of California cheese and Thai flavors was a culinary moment that captivated audiences and attracted international attention.

Real California Milk Thailand expresses its gratitude to the special jury including Ms. Kelly Stange, Regional Agricultural Advisor of Bureau of Agricultural Affairs (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos) Foreign Agricultural Service, Chef Somsak Rarongkham, President of Chefs Association of Thailand. , Chef Bib Chatchaya Rattanakanit, a renowned chef specializing in cooking and baking, Chef Prachan Vong-Uthaiphan, Deputy Director of the Chefs Association of Thailand, and Apiradee Phanuroote, representative of the California Milk Advisory Board.

Grand Prize Winner: Miss Chonnipha Phulaidok from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University with her Tokachi Buta pizza.

1st finalist: Miss Nattarinee Suksoom from Rajabhat University of Thai and International Culinary Arts with her Pizza Pad Mee Seafood Koh Samui.

2nd finalist: Mr. Pawarit Kumpluk from Dusit Thani College with his Northern Sausage Style pizza with Nham Prik Oong.

Miss Chonnipha Phulaidok, the winner of the competition, along with her instructor, will represent Thailand and Real California Milk Thailand at the International Pizza Expo 2025, where they will showcase new pizza flavors on the world stage.

The “Real California Pizza Battle Thailand 2024” not only showcased the diversity and quality of California cheese, but also celebrated the creativity and talent of young Thai chefs. By fusing local flavors with high-quality dairy products, these chefs have elevated the Thai culinary industry to international standards.
