Welder Goes Bankrupt in Carmen, Cebu

A WELDER was handcuffed after he was found in possession of several packets of substance suspected to be shabu totaling 3.5 grams and costing P23,800 after midnight on Monday, November 4 in Purok Gabi, Barangay Baring, Carmen, Cebu.

The suspect was identified as Stephen Comendador Lagahit, 24, a resident of the area.

Carmen Police Station chief Capt. Jessie Tañola told SunStar Cebu that Lagahit was arrested during an anti-illegal drug operation after handing over a packet of illegal substances worth P500 to the buyer-applicant of the policy.

Tañola said a body search of the suspect during his arrest yielded more packages of illegal substances.

According to Captain Tañola, Lagahit is a former drug trafficker who returned to illegal drug trafficking. (LPG)
