Radha Soami Satsang Complex

Entrance to Satsang Complex is from Bhati Mines Road for all devotees and all types of vehicles. All guests and devotees intending to travel to Radha Swami Satsang Resort, Bhati Mines, are advised to arrive before 6 am to avoid traffic jams en route, a statement said.

The organizers have made separate entries for different categories of vehicles and visitors. Devotees coming from Faridabad and Gurugram are advised to reach Radha Swami Satsang Complex, Bhati Mines via Dera border to avoid any inconvenience, he added.

“In view of the Radha Swami Satsang Beas religious congregation to be held at Radha Swami Satsang Complex, Bhati Mines, Chhattar Pur, Mehrauli, New Delhi from 25.10.2024 to 27.10.2024, traffic rules will be in force. Adequate traffic arrangements have been made. for the diversion and regulation of traffic. The general public and motorists are also advised to use public transport to avoid traffic jams on the roads. Please follow the advisory,” read an advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police.

Traffic moved at a snail’s pace near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN) in central Delhi on Saturday as thousands of fans turned out to watch Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s concert.

More than 3,000 security personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order, police officials said.

Traffic slowed down in areas around the stadium, including Lodhi Road.

In a post on X, a commuter said that due to heavy traffic, it took him two hours to cover the stretch from Lodhi Road flyover to Chirag Delhi.

Traffic advisory for Sunday

According to the advisory, movement of heavy vehicles from the red light of JLN Stadium to Whole BP Marg would be restricted on Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. He advised commuters to avoid BP Marg, Lodhi Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg and roads around JLN Stadium during these hours.

“We are expecting around 35,000 people for the event. Elaborate security measures have been taken in and around the stadium,” a senior police official said.

More than 3,000 security personnel have been deployed in and around the stadium.

Paramilitary forces, including a company of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), have also been deployed, officials said.

Plainclothes police officers have been deployed to monitor activities inside the stadium and a large number of CCTV cameras have been installed in and around the venue, they said.

Emergency vehicles, including police, ambulances and firefighters, will have unrestricted access. Emergency vehicles are, however, advised to stay away from BP Marg and Lodhi Road to avoid any inconvenience, the advisory said.
