Fans were strictly shocked by Sunday’s dance this week, as they wondered why Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał weren’t in the bottom two.

The TOWIE star and her partner finished bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night, but managed to qualify in the public vote.

Instead, Wynne Evans, Katya Jones, Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe competed against each other in the dance, with Wynne being sent home by the judges.

Viewers, and Pete himself, were shocked when Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced he had made it.

“Pete through, this is ridiculous. Someone must have spent some money on phone lines. Words dance of the night,” tweeted one viewer.

But despite the quirky openness, the duo lacked vibe, according to Motsi, and Shirley told Jamie he could have benefited from having his “weight in the right place.”

Wynne and Katya showed the judges their Charleston to Torreadores from Bizet’s Carmen with Wynne well dressed as a matador.

The duo received a total of 31 for their dance, putting them second to last, just ahead of Pete who fared much worse.

The reality star and Jowita performed a Cha Cha to Right Said Fred’s I’m Too Sexy.

The former TOWIE star, 36, told the audience he wanted to do the dance to thank Jowita, before joking it was the “worst thank you in the world”.

Their dance scored a total of 27, including a paltry four from Craig, putting him at the bottom of the judge’s leaderboard.
