Shayna Jack and Brianna Throssell made sure to bring some glamor when they headed to Melbourne Racing’s Cox Plate Day on Saturday.

Australia’s Olympic swimmers pulled out all the stops and were seen having the time of their lives at Moonee Valley Racecourse for the spectacular.

For the day, Shayna, 25, put on a vibrant presentation in a red and pink slip dress with a bow on the bodice.

She made sure to turn heads by pairing her stylish ensemble with a unique headpiece, featuring a bright red hat and rings adorned with colorful leaves.

Shayna, who recently suffered a sporting heartbreak at the Paris Olympics, let her outfit do the talking while keeping her accessories minimal.

Keeping with the bold dress code, Brianna, 28, put on a sophisticated presentation in an equally vibrant orange slip dress, adorned with huge flowers.

Olympic gold medalist Brianna, who got engaged to her long-term partner Josh Milner last month, also fixed a gold headband into her brunette tresses.

The two swimmers were seen chatting to AFL star Oliver Dempsey as they all enjoyed the sunny day at the races.

They were present at Cox Plate Day, which has a $5 million purse and allows horses aged three and over to race a distance of 2,040 meters.

It takes place every year at Moonee Valley Racecourse in late October and the dress code encourages spectators to wear textures, bright colors and metallic tones.

In August, Shayna suffered a devastating blow at the Paris 2024 Olympics when she finished last in the 50m freestyle final in France.

She was beaten by teammate Meg Harrison, who won silver behind conqueror Sarah Sjostrom.

Shayna had to come back from the brink after testing positive for Ligandrol, a banned substance that can help repair and build muscle.

For the day, Shayna, 25, showcased a vibrant outfit in a red and pink slip dress with a bow on the bodice.

Jack has long maintained his innocence and had to battle mental demons to return to the top of the sport.

But after her setback in Paris, Shayna insisted she is as hungry as ever to compete for Australia at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

“I definitely have the motivation to come back in four years,” she said.

“This is just the beginning for me. This is my redemption chapter and I hope there is more to come and more story to tell.

“I’m also human and I think for me, I want to enjoy this moment and not think too far ahead. Because sometimes you can get caught up in that.

“I just didn’t think I would ever be here, let alone swim again. I didn’t know if I would fall in love with sports again and I try to say I’m in love with sports, I love running and I love being a part of something that’s not just about me.

“I got a little emotional because I worked so hard to be here and I’m just really proud of everything I’ve accomplished personally and being a part of this team this week, so you know, it’s sad to say goodbye.

“But I look forward to reflecting and being proud of how far we’ve come.”
