Sofia Richie Grainge shares details about her motherhood journey.

By appearing as a guest on the Therapist podcast for an episode released on Thursday, November 14, the new mom, 26, opened up about how much her life has changed since then — and how much weight she’s lost.

“My life has meaning now,” Richie Grainge said. “I have never loved anything so much in my life. I’m obsessed with her, she’s perfect. And I lost 50 pounds. So it happened.

The model shares her daughter Eloise with her husband Elliot Grainge. The couple got married in an ultra glam look Wedding in the south of France in Antibes in April 2023. They announced the birth of their little one in May 2024.

Richie Grainge reminded podcast host and good friend Jake Shane of how she documented her body change while she was pregnant.

“I made weekly photo updates. Every Monday. I could watch myself grow. It was cute until it wasn’t,” she continued.

Initially, Richie Grainge said continued growth “wasn’t” attractive, but quickly changed his mind.

“It was magnificent. That’s the thing – I always tell my friends, I’m like, “Oh, this has gotten crazy. » But I always had power. All the way. I was like, ‘I’m amazing that I can do this,'” she said before detailing how much weight she had gained.

“But I was also over 60,” the model said, adding that she “didn’t leave the house.”

Shane joked that after Eloise was born in May, Richie Grainge didn’t get to enjoy a Brat Summer.

“I didn’t even know this season happened. In my mind, the summer season didn’t happen,” Richie Grainge said.

The new mom also revealed that even though Éloïse is only five months old, she has his own “little baby phone”.

Shane said he sometimes texts his friend’s little girl, playfully sharing details of one of their recent conversations.

“I said, ‘Eloise, do you mind if your mom and I talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, “No, keep my name out of your mouth.” And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’ »

Richie Grainge assured Shane that she “had a chat” with her baby to straighten her out.

Last month, Richie Grainge explained that her personal style hasn’t changed much since becoming a mom in a British Vogue interview.

“No, I don’t change my style because I’m a mom. I’m very confident and comfortable in the way I dress,” she told the publication. “If anything, my bag is just a lot fuller.”
