OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert issued Monday for a missing 7-year-old girl in northeast Ohio was canceled later that night, according to Ohio Amber Alert.

As of 9:45 p.m., the agency had provided no further information.

OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 7-year-old girl who was abducted in northeast Ohio.

She was described as 4 feet tall and 55 pounds, according to Ohio Amber Alert. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes.

She is a native of Empire, Ohio, in Jefferson County.

The suspect is described as 43-year-old Charles Alexander. He has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and jeans.

The release did not specify whether the victim and suspect are related.

Authorities say a previous suspect vehicle was found unoccupied. The current suspect vehicle is a 2023 Ford F-650 U-Haul truck bearing Arizona license plate AL 74169.

Anyone with information is asked to call their local 911 agency.
