Healey looks at protecting illegal immigrants in Mass.

There are three laws regarding people stuck in holes.

The first law of holes is to stop digging.

The second law of holes is realizing that you can’t get out of them.

The Third Law of Holes asks for help.

Governor Maura Healey broke all three.

She has dug herself a political hole so deep because of illegal immigration that it will take divers from the famous European Association of Cave Rescuers to dig her out.

If she wants to go out, of course.

Being the die-hard progressive and anti-Donald Trump that she is, Healey perhaps relishes her role in “standing up to Trump” by defending criminal illegal immigrants and others who crossed the border illegally than Trump and most Americans want. deported.

Someone should tell the governor to read the room.

The people spoke loud and clear on the issue when they gave Trump a landslide victory across the board.

Part of that victory is due to Trump’s promise to rid the country of the countless number of criminal illegal immigrants — murderers and rapists — and other illegal migrants that the Biden administration has welcomed into the country.

They have wreaked fiscal havoc in cities and towns across the country, not to mention the crime wave seen in New York and other major cities, including gang violence.

Although details have not yet been worked out or announced, handling deportations as well as securing the southern border will be among the first things Trump does once he is inaugurated on January 20 as the 47th president of the United States.

Its deportation program will be led by Tom Homan, a pragmatic man, who will use ICE and other agencies to get the job done. Homan will seek cooperation from local police organizations that in many cases have been blocked from jurisdictions controlled by woke Democratic politicians. If he doesn’t get their cooperation, he will proceed anyway.

Healey, a longtime fierce critic of Trump, has none of it. She didn’t sue Trump a hundred times for nothing when she was attorney general, and he was president the first time.

In the meantime, she has had to call in the National Guard to deal with the flood of illegal immigrants – including criminals – who have flooded the state. They cost Massachusetts taxpayers more than $1 billion a year to house, feed and clothe them, as well as provide medical care, schooling, security and transportation.

“No, absolutely not,” Healey responded when left-leaning MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell asked her if she would allow state police to assist with Trump’s deportations.

This isn’t the first time Healey has supported protecting illegal immigrants from federal authorities.

She began digging her hole in 2019 when, as attorney general, she supported Newton District Court Judge Shelley Joseph, who was indicted and suspended for allowing a twice-deported fugitive illegal immigrant to sneak out the back door of the courthouse to escape waiting ICE agents. who wanted to expel him.

She attacked Trump over Joseph’s indictment, calling it “a sweeping, politically motivated attack on our state and the independence of our courts.”

Charges against Joseph were dropped after Joe Biden replaced Trump as president. Joseph is back on the bench with the locks on the back door of the courthouse presumably changed.

Still stuck in her hole, Healey doubles down on attacks on Trump over deportation.

She told O’Donnell: “I think the key here is that every tool in the toolbox will be used to protect our citizens, to protect our residents and protect our states, and certainly to stay the course on democracy and the rule of law as a fundamental principle. »

Yes, citizens need protection. They need protection from criminal illegal immigrants. They also need protection from woke Democratic politicians like Joe Biden, who have allowed gangs of illegal immigrants to enter the country to rob, rape, and murder innocent Americans.

Meanwhile, Healey, when not attacking Trump, will seek to secure more federal immigration funds from the Trump administration to bail out Massachusetts taxpayers. Good luck with that.

This is going to be difficult to do when playing from a hole.
