Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police Commissioner has issued a notification regarding ban on any type of gathering of 5 or more people, processions, dharnas, public gatherings within the limits of Hyderabad And Secunderabad.

The police imposed section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Surakhsa Sanhitha-2023 (former section CrPC 114).

However, peaceful protests and dharnas are only allowed at Indira Park and Dharna Chowk.

The orders will remain in effect from October 27 to November 28 at 6 p.m.
