How to Disable Duplicate Notifications on Pixel Devices

Many of us live surrounded by screens. If you find yourself in the same environment, you will surely understand the inconvenience of receiving every notification on multiple devices. Seriously, my multiple devices start pinging every time I receive an email, IM, alert, or other notification. Then I have to clear all these notifications on all gadgets, individually. If you want to avoid duplicate notifications on Android, Google has integrated a very useful new feature exclusive to Pixel devices.

There is now an option to “Skip notifications on Pixel devices” in Settings. When enabled, notifications you cleared on one Pixel phone will also disappear on others. It’s one of those modest additions, but much appreciated by many of us. This will help us stay sane!

QUICK RESPONSE

To disable duplicate notifications on Android, go to Settings option on your Pixel device. Then go to Notifications > Ignore notifications on Pixel devices > Ignore on this device > Go > Allow access to notifications > Allow.
