Delhi schools closed: The air quality index in Delhi fell into the ‘severe’ and ‘very poor’ category in many areas. Authorities are expected to announce the closure of schools for a few days to ensure the safety and well-being of students. Know the latest updates here

Delhi schools closed: Since Diwali is over, the obvious has happened. DelhiIndia’s capital once again breaks records by reaching worst AQI! It’s like smoking 25-30 cigarettes a day without even touching one. Now we all know how dangerous it is for students to walk to school, gather and play on the ground when a thick haze of smoke surrounds them.

Due to this, many questions have been asked regarding the closure of Delhi schools due to pollution. Some reports claim that the administration may decide to close the school for a few days. However, there is no official confirmation as of now. Parents and students are advised to contact school authorities for detailed information.

Last year, a similar situation occurred during Diwali, when the air quality fell into the ‘severe’ category. The Delhi government had to bring winter vacations ahead of schedule due to the safety and well-being of students. Thus, schools have been ordered to remain closed from November 9 to 18, 2023.
