UCL: Liverpool in the lead, Real Madrid, PSG in the bottom half after the 4th day (full table)

Liverpool are top of the Champions League table after week four, thanks to a 4-0 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.

This result means that the Reds have won all four matches so far and are yet to concede a single goal.

Arne Slot’s men are also the only team to have accumulated maximum points so far.

Sporting Lisbon beat Manchester City 4-1 and are in second position, tied on 10 points with Monaco, Brest and Inter Milan.

Real Madrid are in 18th place after a shock 3-1 home defeat to AC Milan, while PSG are 25th after a last-gasp defeat to Atletico Madrid.

After each club has played eight matches, the top eight advance to the round of 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th qualify for the play-offs to try to join them.
