In a significant move to improve connectivity and drive economic development in Odisha, several airlines have agreed to introduce new flight routes from Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda airports, the office of the Governor said on Friday. Chief Minister (CMO).

The new routes will operate from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar and Vir Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda, connecting key destinations across India.

Direct flights will depart from Bhubaneswar to Indore, Dehradun, Kochi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Jharsuguda to Hyderabad, Raipur, Lucknow and Mumbai. This will give a new direction to the economic development of the state.
