US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer upped the ante in Ukraine by authorizing kyiv to strike Russia with British-made Storm Shadow missiles and US-supplied long-range ATACMS missiles.

This decision is clearly aimed at exerting maximum pressure on Vladimir Putin before Donald Trump becomes president again. And it sends more than just a shot because of the presence of North Korean forces on the front lines – itself an escalatory move by Moscow and Pyongyang.
