Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick exploit: does it really work?

The Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick exploit suggests that you can follow the cards by watching the process in slow motion via edited video, but does this actually work?

As a free player he can it takes a really long time to unlock everything In Pokémon TCG Pocket. This is why it is important to use the Wonder Pick function, which allows you get more free cards to the detriment of your endurance.

The way this feature works is that you can basically get a map of other players’ sets, but there is a difference. You can only choose the card after they’ve all been shuffled and laid out face down, so it’s hard to tell which one is the one you really want.

Apparently there is an exploit that some players have claimed to use to obtain their favorite Wonder Pick card. Let’s see below whether this method works or not.

The Wonder Pick feat explained in Pokemon TCG Pocket

In Wonder Pick, all other players’ cards will be revealed to you at the start. However, after a short time, all cards will undergo a shuffling animation, meaning the desired card has likely been moved to another location.

If you are lucky, you can collect a rare card only through the Wonder Pick feature.

For this reason, a method of using a screen recording app to capture the process and then editing it in slow motion to follow the cards has emerged.

In doing so, you are supposed to visually follow the card you initially want from the start of the animation playing until it is laid out face down.

Does it really work?

No, it doesn’t work. No matter how hard you try to track the position of the card, ultimately the animation is purely visual and does not represent where the cards were actually placed.

The same applies if you skip the shuffling animation, as another theory suggested that this would allow the cards to stay in the same initial position.

Overall, it looks pretty much like crumpled pack exploit which we have debunked, where the end results are purely random. So, it’s really not worth going to all the trouble to choose Wonder Picking with this method.

Sometimes you can get lucky when the desired card actually lands in the location you tracked, but this is not always guaranteed.

Wonder Picks are still tricky, but it’s a nice feature to use if you’re looking for get cards of other languages to add to your collection.
