COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Arrest warrants were issued Thursday for four South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) inmates.

The warrants relate to separate cases over the past month, according to SCDC’s inspector general.

The detainees and their charges can be found below, according to information provided by SCDC:

• Ibn Gadson, 28, attempted murder, assault with a concealed weapon and possession of contraband by a prisoner. These charges relate to stabbing a correctional officer in the head with a homemade knife in Broad River CI.

• Robert Lee Myers Jr., 50, second-degree battery. The charge involves serious injury to a fellow inmate during a fight in Evans CI.

• Rickylee Charles Eugene Smith, 36, five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges relate to five child pornography videos found in Smith’s Gmail account.

• Carnelius Joseph Floyd, 34, providing prisoners with contraband and possession of
methamphetamines. The charges relate to a contraband package including methamphetamine and a cell phone found in his assigned locker in Wateree River CI.

Officials said the inmates will be issued an arrest warrant and given a bond hearing.
