Rod Stewart “unfortunately” gets rid of his many Italian sports cars

Rod Stewart had decided to get rid of some of his most prized “works of art”.

Wednesday November 14, the 79-year-old British singer revealed in an Instagram post that he would abandon his beloved collection of Italian sports cars because he finds the potholes in his neighborhood too bad to continue driving.

“I am extremely fortunate and eternally grateful to be the owner of these five beautiful hybrid sports cars, which in my opinion are true ‘works of art,'” Stewart captioned his Instagram post, which featured a photo of him posing in front of his brightly colored cars, all lined up on a tree-lined street.

“Unfortunately, because of the potholes on our roads, I may have to find new owners for them,” the singer continued. “I’ve been driving these iconic Italian cars since the 70s, and I love and adore them.”

Stewart signed the caption: “This post is for my fans, thank you, because you are the only reason I own these. And to all the trolls… don’t bother, I never read the comments .”

In one video, the “Maggie May” singer is seen shoveling while saying, “I’m fixing up the street where I live, because no one bothers to do it.”

Stewart captioned the post: “Working for a living, filling in the gaps, it’s good for the soul! .”

In another video, he shows off the many potholes and details why he’s taking matters into his own hands.

“The other day there was an ambulance with a blown tire,” Stewart said in the video. “My Ferrari can’t fit here at all, so me and the boys thought we could come and do it ourselves.”

“There is absolutely no disagreement between Penny and I and no disagreement about where we should reside, in fact it’s the opposite,” he continued, before responding to a specific claim that the long-time couple – who Wed June 2007 – wonders if they should move permanently from Los Angeles to the UK.

“We moved back to our beloved Britain permanently a year ago, but we are also lucky to have homes in different countries that we love to visit,” he wrote. “We initially thought it made sense to sell our home in Los Angeles, but after spending a wonderful time there this summer with family and friends for my residence in Vegas we realized it made sense to keep our house there.

“Penny and I couldn’t be more in love with each other after 27 glorious years. Please trust me on this…there are no disagreements in our marriage” , he added before signing the statement saying “Rod’s very lucky man ‘Stewart.’
