Trump, the Republican nominee, received 295 electoral college votes to Harris’ 226, sparking a wave of backlash from the entertainment industry.

Actress America Ferrera is reportedly considering moving to the UK with her family. The 40-year-old star, best known for her role in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, is worried about her children’s future after Trump’s victory. An insider shared with the New York Post that Ferrera is devastated by the loss of Harris and is seeking a more promising environment overseas.

Sharon Stone is also considering fleeing the United States, particularly to Italy. Earlier this year, the Basic Instinct actress expressed interest in purchasing a home there, expressing dismay at a political landscape she sees as oppressive. “This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve seen someone run for office on an agenda of hate and oppression,” Stone said.

Music icon Cher has spoken out about the impact of Trump’s leadership on her well-being. In a 2023 interview with the Guardian, she revealed the toll the previous election cycle had on her health, hinting that she might leave the country if Trump returned to power. “I almost had an ulcer last time.
