1. Dee-Dee confesses about Joel

Dee-Dee decides she must do the right thing by telling the police the truth about his involvement in Joel’s death. Still convinced she was the culprit, Dee-Dee informs Kit that she hit Joel with a crowbar the night he died.

Dee-Dee clarifies that she was acting in self-defense and that Joel was still alive when she left him. This raises doubt as to whether Dee-Dee was actually the killer, since someone else must have dumped her body in the river.

As Kit considers whether to arrest Dee-Dee, another piece of evidence comes to light that could take the investigation in a new direction.

2. Lisa claims she’s being framed

Lisa informs Carla of the ongoing investigation, revealing that she is now a suspect as her CS spray was found next to the murder weapon. Lisa assumes someone is framing her – the real killer being the most likely possibility.

Using her detective skills, Lisa retraces her steps and tries to discover who had the means and motivation to steal the spray. Could this lead to unmasking the real killer, or is Lisa simply playing a role to cover her own tracks?

3. Joel’s killer is finally revealed

In a special episode airing Friday, November 15, Kit continues to question his suspects and a series of flashbacks update viewers on the night Joel died.

These include a view from the bridge near where Joel’s body was found in the river. Who delivered the final blow that killed him?

4. Tim and Sally find themselves in danger

Tim finds himself in the doghouse with Sally because their car was stolen, next to a ring that belonged to Sally’s mother. With Mason’s brothers involved, Sally points out that Tim created this mess by let Mason sleep on their couch.

Tim sees Mason with his siblings Matty and Logan and rushes to confront them. Matty and Logan both smugly laugh at Tim, who quickly senses that Mason is afraid of his family.

Later, Mason calls back at the Metcalfe home but Sally forces him inside and calls the police.

5. Mason makes amends

Later in the week, Tim and Sally’s car is recovered by the police following an anonymous tip.

Mason apologizes to Tim for causing trouble, but accidentally lets it slip that he was the one who secretly tipped off the police on where to find the missing vehicle.

6. Gemma struggles to forgive Billy

David Platt, Bernie Winter, Gemma Winterbrown, Coronation Street

There are mixed reactions to Billy following his collapse during Paul’s screening and his near-death experience afterwards.

Bernie suggests that the Winter-Browns should welcome Billy into the family, as is what Paul would have wanted. Gemma remains furious following revelation that Billy made a move towards Todd after the funeral, so she storms off.

7. David visits Clayton

David confides in Nick after receiving messages from prison about Shona’s imprisoned son, Clayton, who has sent a visitation order. While David has kept Shona in the dark about it, Nick suggests that honesty is the best long-term policy.

David ignores this and goes to see Clayton in secret. How will the visit take place?

8. Shona receives some shocking news

Later in the week, David is alarmed to find Shona in an emotional state at home.

Shona explains that the police visited her to tell her that Clayton is in hospital after trying to kill himself.

9. Lauren shares her fears with Max

Lauren Bolton, Max Turner, Coronation Street

ITV

Lauren spends some quality time cuddling Frankie at the hospital, with Max also there for moral support.

When Lauren shares her fear that social services will take Frankie away at some point, Max reassures her that everything will be fine if they stay together.
