Justin Allgaier signs contract extension with JR Motorsports until 2026

Big news for Justin Allgaier and JR Motorsports. The Gator will remain with the organization until at least 2026. Currently, the NASCAR The Xfinity Series playoffs are the center of attention, but this news could boost the morale of the No. 7 team a bit.

At 38 years old, Justin Allgaier will be 40 at the end of this extension. He continues to win races and compete for championships. Additionally, he became the series’ all-time top 10 leader earlier this year.

Having a veteran like Allgaier is never a bad thing. He lives and breathes the Xfinity Series and looks forward to what’s next. Brandt will also remain sponsor of the 7.

Justin Allgaier is one of the all-time greats in the Xfinity Series. By the end of his extension, he will have more than 500 starts in the series and it is unclear how many more wins, top 10s and poles will reward as well.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Justin, the Brandt family and everyone at BRANDT Professional Agriculture,” said Kelley Earnhardt Miller, CEO of JRM, in a press release.. “BRANDT and Justin have become synonymous with JRM on and off the track and Rick (Brandt)’s passion for this program remains unwavering. We are honored to continue to carry their brand. This #7 team has always been one of the strongest teams in the garage year after year, and I know it will continue to improve.

Justin Allgaier happy to continue racing at JRM

You won’t find someone more comfortable with their career than Justin Allgaier. He tried the Cup Series thing. It didn’t work. During his career, he probably could have taken another shot at the highest level of NASCAR, but he didn’t.

Allgaier is in a position where he can be competitive on a weekly basis. He races for championships every season. He needs to make the most of his time at Homestead-Miami and Martinsville, otherwise he could be left out of Championship 4.

A lot of people started making comparisons between Denny Hamlin and Justin Allgaier. They are both drivers with almost all the accolades they could want in their respective series. But there is one thing that connects them: no championship.

This weekend, the quest for the championship continues. Allgaier has come so close in the past. Is 2024 the season where he gets the job done and takes the bulk off his to-do list?
