I’ll be honest here, a lot of Prime Video original movies stink. Every year the popular streaming service is releasing dozens of new films, and many are getting horrible review scores and met with a big shrug from subscribers.

So far in 2024, Prime Video has released nearly 40 new movies for streaming, including films like “Ricky Stanicky,” “Space Cadet,” “Jackpot!” and “Killer Heat.” Luckily, among the duds, there are some truly excellent films worth adding to your watchlist, you just need to know which Prime Video Originals to stream and which to avoid.
