Harris and Trump deliver messages from North Carolina to Wisconsin

Vice President Harris and former President Trump are campaigning in key states Wednesday, finalizing their messages to voters with less than a week until Election Day.

Harris made his point Tuesday night in a speech in Washington, D.C., that drew a crowd of 75,000 and hit Trump repeatedly, calling him a “little tyrant” and comparing him to “wannabe dictators.”

Trump, who went on stage along with the vice president, addressed supporters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, a majority-Latino city that is home to tens of thousands of Puerto Ricans. He ignored the backlash to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke at his rally at Madison Square Garden, calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Harris began the campaign day Wednesday with a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina. Within hours, Trump appeared on stage in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, about an hour away.

The vice president then traveled to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for an afternoon event.

Both candidates will end the day in Wisconsin, with Harris at a rally in Madison and Trump in Green Bay.
