A Delhi traffic advisory has been issued and restrictions imposed for Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2024 on October 29. To mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a “unity run” is being organized on October 29 in the capital. Although Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary falls on October 31, this time it is being celebrated across India on Tuesday, October 29, as announced by Prime Minister Modi during the Mann Ki Baat speech. The change in the date of the event was made due to the conflict with Diwali celebrations on Thursday.

On this occasion, a “Run For Unity” will take place on October 29 this year and will be dedicated to the “Iron Man of India”, who played a pivotal role in the unification of the various princely states to form the modern Indian nation.

The ‘Run for Unity’ will start at 7:41 am on Tuesday from Gate No. 1 of Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and proceed towards Hexagon C and right onto Radial opposite Shahjahan Road. Then the rally will end at the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. More than 7,700 participants will participate in the event.

Keeping this event in mind, traffic restrictions have been imposed around India Gate, Hexagon C from 6:45 am until the end of the event.
