Watch | Trump brags about his ‘every rally is sold out’ as cameraman walks to empty seats

Donald Trump was on stage in Greensboro, North Carolina, boasting that his rallies were one of the “largest in history,” with “absolutely no empty seats.” A cameraman attending the live event decided to do a quick on-site check by simply panning the camera and showing literally empty seats in the room.

This happened live, as Trump walked through his crowded rallies, with a “Trump will fix this” banner in the backdrop.

Trump confidently declared at the rally: “We’ve had the largest rallies in history, and every rally is sold out. There are no empty seats. That phrase has become a familiar refrain for him and his campaign, who often dismiss claims that attendees are leaving his events early. “You don’t have empty seats. You had nothing,” he repeated for emphasis.

The crowd joined in unison to applaud his boasts. Meanwhile, the camera turned around to show a surprising reality: a series of empty seats.

NTD.com’s cameraman zoomed in on the vacant sections, capturing the moment people were seen heading towards the exits, leaving netizens wondering if they were just stretching their legs or spending the night .

In addition to the cameraman, News Nation reporter Libbey Dean also captured many empty seats in a post on her X account, highlighting areas Trump could likely see from where he was standing during his speech.

A must-have!

Earlier, Trump also bragged about a packed MSG rally, saying the crowd was so large that the venue had to close its doors, leaving some people hanging out at nearby clubs to watch Trump speak.

This isn’t the first time Trump has talked about crowd size at his rallies, in fact he talks about it frequently, so much so that it has taken him into meme territory. One day, even the Harris-Walz campaign decided to attack the Republican candidate’s boastful claims.

Earlier, CNN also denied a claim by Trump that he boasted about hosting “101,000 people” at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month.
