Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the cancellation to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process within six months. The initial exam in February saw over 48 lakh candidates, including nearly 16 lakh women, participating at 2,835 centers across all 75 districts of the state.

Candidates who pass the written exam will proceed to the Physical Endurance Test (PET). For PET, candidates need to bring a valid ID proof, passport size photograph and a printed copy of their e-admit card. Entry will not be allowed without the admission card.
