Top manager parts ways with PSL side after poor results

Top manager Sead Ramovic has decided to step down as head coach of Premier League Football side Galaxy TS after their 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday evening.

Ramovic recently reached the 100-game mark as Galaxy coach, but he has been unable to keep his team in league form this season, and they sit at the bottom of the PSL standings.

The Rockets are the only team without a win in their opening six Betway Premiership games this season, one of the reasons which influenced the German tactician’s decision to resign.

Ramovic resigns as TS Galaxy coach

According to a report from iDiskiTimesRamovic announced his decision to step down as manager of TS Galaxy after their match against the Stellies.

The German mentor confirmed in an interview with SuperSport TV to which he had submitted his resignation letter club owner Tim Sukaziwhich he accepted.

Ramovic was close to leaving the Rockets this summer, but his deal with Moroccan giants Raja Athletic Club fell through in the final stages, allowing him to retain his role in the PSL.

Galaxy had a good season under the former VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper last campaign. They finished sixth in the table with 44 points (a club record) and also finished second in the Carling Knockout Cup.

The German coach was expected to repeat last season’s success this campaign, or even raise the bar, but their poor start ended the relationship between the two sides.

Ramovic explains why TS Galaxy lost to Pirates

The Buccaneers were too strong for the Rockets, taking all three points with a 2-0 away win.
