All of Donald Trump’s television and film appearances ahead of the US presidential election

The former president and current Republican presidential candidate is no stranger to the cameras. Before entering politics, he appeared regularly on television shows and in films, always playing himself and often referencing his personal wealth.

Technically, he’s an award-winning actor, having won three of the four Golden Raspberries he’s been nominated for. Trump was also the host and co-producer for 14 seasons of The Apprentice, a reality TV show in which people competed for a contract promoting his real estate business.

A new Trump biopic, titled The Apprentice, recently hit theaters. Sebastian Stan plays a young, coiffed Trump in 1970s New York, working as a rent collector for his father while he dreams of opening a hotel downtown. Jeremy Fort is the Svengali-style lawyer who takes the future real estate tycoon under his wing and turns him into a successful businessman at all costs.

It was well received by critics, but Trump himself is not a fan of this depiction. He called it a “disgusting hatchet job” on social media and had his lawyers send a cease-and-desist letter to producers after the Cannes premiere.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
