Tiktoker raises funds and buys man in need Mkokoteni to make ends meet

The man had previously asked for help in purchasing a motorbike or mkokoteni for business to help him make ends meet.

In a video shared on his TikTokWanjau delivers the machine to Musyoka, who is delighted with the gift.

“You told me to buy you a motorbike or a mkokoteni. We could not raise enough money to buy a motorbike, but God blessed us with money to buy you this mkokoteni,” he said.

The two men first went to buy Musyoka’s clothes before handing over his new vehicle, a brand new blue handcart with black wheels.

What will Musyoka do with his mkokoteni?

Excited by his gift, he thanked the Kenyans who contributed to the purchase, praying for them.

“I am very happy to receive this machine and would like to thank everyone who contributed. God bless them,” Musyoka said.

He further revealed that he would use the route to sell fruits and water and rent it out to those relocating, among other businesses.

“I can sell fruits, water, carry luggage, cement, soil and many other things that this machine can hold. It’s like a pickup truck,” he said.

Wanjau also thanked well-wishers who contributed to the success of the project and added that Musyoka would start with a sales business.

He announced his intention to buy him 12 jerry cans and pay him a few months’ rent to start his business.

“After speaking to him, we decided it was best to start with the water sector as we head into the sunny season. I plan to buy him 12 or 15 jerrycans for this. We can also pay him two months’ rent to meet his needs. Send him any amount via mobile number 0712123355,” he added.

Philanthropist agrees to pay one-year insurance to matatu owner

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that the businessman and philanthropist Moses Mwenda expressed admiration for kind gesture of a matatu owner who painted his portrait on his vehicle.

Mwenda said he learned through friends that his portrait was printed on a matatu, which prompted him to search for Stephen Wambugu, the owner of the matatu.

Wambugu explained that he was motivated by Mwenda’s kind gesture towards the community and especially towards people he knew.
