Elon Musk shocks Joe Rogan with his Diablo 4 ranking

Elon Musk surprised Joe Rogan by revealing that he’s not only good at Diablo 4, he’s also internationally ranked.

Diablo 4 can sometimes feel a little silly as you take on hordes of enemies and reduce demons to piles of bloody goo. For hardcore gamers, however, there are indicators of success.

The Artificers’ Pit is the penultimate challenge in the game and level 150 is the current benchmark that players test themselves against. Tech billionaire and CEO of X Elon Musk East a documented Diablo 4 fan And he’s no stranger to pushing The Pit.

Appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience, Musk dove deep into his gaming hobby and surprised Rogan with his prowess. During the podcast, Musk revealed that he is ranked among the top 20 Diablo 4 players in the world.

The episode began with Rogan asking Musk about the feat. “So you’re in the top 20 in the world?” » asked the host. “Yeah. They actually put me with my real name on the list,” Musk replied.

If you head over to the community sourced Pit leaderboard on Helltides.comyou will see Elon Musk sitting in 19th place with a clear time of 2:45. Somehow, the billionaire CEO found time to go to crazy lengths.

“There are only two Americans in the top 20, and I’m one of them,” Musk said. He then extolled the virtues of gaming as a hobby and revealed that playing games of “extreme difficulty” had a “calming effect on him.”

Musk actually posted his ranking in Diablo 4’s Pit on X as proof of his accomplishment. Initially, he shared it via his alternate gaming account with the handle (and we’re 100% serious here) cyb3rgam3r420.

Certainly, Musk uses the Construction Quill Volleyball Spiritborn who is able to distribute hundreds and billions of damage thanks to a persistent bug. It’s still an impressive feat.

Later in the episode, Musk talked about Quake and revealed that back when he was in college, he was “one of the best players in the country.” Rogan himself has admitted to being obsessed with Quake and even building his own PC to play it.
