T1 Oner extends contract until 2026 and joins Faker, Keria

Jungler Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun officially extended his contract with the Korean esports organization T1.

This renewal follows the triumphant performance of T1 Oner at League of Legends 2024 World Championship (2024 Worlds)where the team won the title with a decisive victory over Bilibili Gaming.

T1 Oner continues its journey with the organization with this new contract for several additional years.

T1 Oner stays put after 2024 World Cup triumph

T1 Oner has committed to the team for the next two seasons, signing a multi-year contract that keeps him at T1 until 2026. This means the talented jungler remains a crucial part of the T1 LoL roster for 15 seasons and 16.

“I am very honored to get the jungle job again for T1,” he said in a statement. “I will do my best to achieve greater things with T1 in the next two years.”

Oner’s meteoric rise to the T1 LoL roster has been nothing short of spectacular.

Beginning his career in 2020 with T1 Academy, he quickly moved up to the T1 LoL main roster in 2021. T1 Oner has since solidified his position as a top jungler, reaching multiple LCK finals, including a championship victory during the LCK Spring Split 2022. .

His international success is equally impressive, with a World Championship semi-final appearance in his first year as a starter and back-to-back World Championship titles in 2023 and 2024.

In the LCK, Oner’s individual accolades include Jungle of the Year in 2023 and Finals MVP in the 2022 Spring Split.

Before Oner’s contract renewal, support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok had already re-signed with T1.

Along with top laner Choi “Zeus” Woo-je, mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, and bot laner Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, these five players form the legendary “ZOFGK” roster. This T1 LoL team has seen unprecedented success, winning back-to-back world championships in 2023 and 2024.
