Kartik Aaryan admits he entered the mall deliberately so people would recognize him: ‘I’m a workaholic x 100’

Kartik Aaryan recently opened up about the consequences of his hard work ethic, describing himself as a “workaholic x 100.” He admitted to feeling exhausted, revealing that he often felt like he didn’t know anything other than work. In a candid moment, he explained that he hadn’t had the opportunity to pause and reflect, likening his life to a race with no finish line. He also mentioned that he sometimes enters shopping malls voluntarily, hoping to be recognized by fans.

In a recent interview with the Indian Express, Kartik Aaryan reflected on his journey in Bollywood, recalling how during times of unemployment, his only goal was to land his first role. He made his mark with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011, but to his surprise, when the moment finally arrived, he realized that he had not fully savored it. Instead of celebrating his achievement, he found himself preoccupied with the pressure of what comes next.

He went on to share that one of his most enjoyable moments came when someone asked him for a selfie and recognized him. In fact, he intentionally walked around malls seeking that recognition. He said: “I was actually deliberately walking into a shopping center so people would recognize me. »

The 33-year-old actor has acknowledged the consequences of his hard work ethic. Since his journey began in 2011, he has experienced the ups and downs of fame, with successes and failures shaping his career. He reflected on how his initial goal was only to land his first film and maintain his visibility in the industry, where he was often referred to as the “monologue guy.”

Kartik Aaryan expressed a desire for variety in his career, but he found little time to think amid the constant pressure of work. He said: “I haven’t had a chance to sit down and think because I’m in a race with no finish line.”

The actor admitted to feeling exhausted by the incessant hustle, admitting he needs personal time, but he finds it difficult to detach himself from work. “I think I need some time for myself too; I’m a little exhausted by it, just working constantly. But the thing is, I don’t know anything other than work. I’ve tried that, but It doesn’t work. It doesn’t work for me. I’m a workaholic x100,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan has built an impressive filmography with notable films like Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Shehzada, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Love Aaj Kal (2020) and Chandu Champion.
