How to overcome the blight in The Singing Blade – Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The destroyed bridge may be trying to block your path in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but that’s how you’ll get around it.

While trying to find the Iyrium dagger in The Singing Blade mission in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you will come to a blocked bridge that you will not be able to cross. The good news is that there is a way to get through.

The end of the bridge is blocked by a dark gray burn. This means that the scourge is inert and cannot be destroyed. Instead, there will be smaller source blights that need to be found, and when these are destroyed the main blight will disappear.

The first blight we can destroy is to the left of the bridge on the wall, glowing bright red. Hit with an arrow, spell, or your shield throw, and it will burst.

Now walk to the end of the bridge and collect the Power Crystal from the small pedestal. The bridge behind you will collapse, and if you look into the blob that was revealed, you’ll see yet another glowing blight.

Destroy it like the first, and the main blight will dissipate, allowing you to move forward. Insert the Power Crystal into the new pedestal that was revealed, grab the chest and it’s time to continue moving forward.
