Chandrapur, Nov 20 (PTI) A flying squad of the Election Commission on Wednesday seized Rs 60 lakh from Rajura constituency in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district where assembly elections are underway, an official said.

Poll officials raided a house in Gadchandur and confiscated cash and campaign materials, he said.

Tax authorities were also informed of the seizure, the official added.

The assembly elections in all 288 constituencies of Maharashtra are being held in a single phase on Wednesday. PTI COR NR
