Music label O/C Records, run by celebrity duo Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza, has officially welcomed Alex Gonzaga, the popular singer-actress and social media personality, to its roster of artists.

The announcement was made via the surprise release of her new single on Friday, November 8 – a rendition of Vehnee Saturno’s classic hit “Pasulyap-Sulyap,” popularized by Tootsie Guevarra in the late ’90s.
The lyrics of “Pasulyap-Sulyap” express the emotions of someone who is in love with another person, often describing moments of furtive glances or brief encounters that evoke deep feelings – one of the main factors that captivated Alex.

“The melodic and heartfelt nature of the song resonates with anyone who has experienced the thrill and sweetness of budding romance,” Alex explained, describing what drew her to the classic hit.

According to Alex, she chose to sign a deal with O/C to showcase her musicality. With O/C’s reputation for handling OPM hitmakers from Unique Salonga and Arthur Nery to Adie, mrld and Ryannah J, Alex has aligned herself with a powerhouse roster of talent.

“Pasulyap-Sulyap” marks Alex’s first-ever release with the label, and she’s set to release more renditions of classic hits.
