EXCLUSIVE: Ajay Devgn gives franchise updates on Son of Sardaar 2, Dhamaal 4 and Unsung Warrior

Ajay Devgn recently impressed the audience with his role in Singham Again, the latest installment of the Cop universe created by Rohit Shetty. The actor is gearing up for an exciting line-up of projects including several franchise films. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Ajay gave an update on Son of Sardaar 2, Dhamaal 4 and the Unsung Warrior franchise.

In the recent episode of the Pinkvilla Masterclass, Ajay Devgn shared developments on some of its upcoming projects. A fan asked the actor if he was considering doing films in the Unsung Warrior franchise since the 2020 film Tanhaji was immensely loved by the audience.

In response, Ajay said, “Yes, we are working on something. » Talking about action comedy Son of Sardaar 2he shared that he was shooting for the film. Ajay mentioned that they have almost completed the film.

Noting the audience’s enthusiasm for the films in the franchise, Ajay said, “Because they know they have had a great experience, they won’t mind having another one.”

Ajay was also asked if he was doing Dhamaal 4 after being loved in the jungle adventure comedy Total Dhamaal. The actor confirmed he was a part of it, saying, “Yes.”

In 2023, Pinkvilla was the first to announce that 2012’s Son of Sardaar was going to get a sequel. A source close to the development said, “Ajay Devgn has been planning to make Son of Sardaar into a franchise ever since the first part released over a decade ago. He has discussed a number of ideas in the past to take Jassi Singh Randhwa’s story forward, but none of them were up to par. Ajay and his team have finally figured out the plot of the sequel and will officially announce the project soon.

In 2024, Pinkvilla brought an exclusive update on Dhamaal 4. We revealed that the Indra Kumar directorial will get the entire cast back by Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi.
