Police have issued a reminder on how to use mini roundabouts after receiving reports of them being used incorrectly, leading to safety concerns.

Guernsey Police said the reports were particularly relevant to the mini roundabout on Colborne Road, at the top of Val des Terres.

Citing the highway code, the police said: “You must bypass the central marking of a mini roundabout unless your vehicle is of such a size that it is physically incapable of doing so.”

Police said the correct use of roundabouts allowed traffic to pass safely and without being blocked.
