Seward Elementary School in Auburn has introduced new pick-up and drop-off procedures to improve student safety. Effective immediately, students in grades K-3 must be escorted to designated entrances, with kindergarten and first grade students using entrance A, and second and third grade students using entrance B.

Parents are directed to the newly constructed parking lot as part of the school’s capital improvement project.

Older students in grades four through six can enter independently, using Entrance C after being dropped off in the new designated area. The main entrance remains reserved for school buses.

The district also restricted parking on Metcalf Drive during peak hours and added a four-way stop at Metcalf and Mary Street to address safety concerns.
