The New Mexico Department of Environment’s Office of Environmental Health is responsible for issuing permits to food establishments.

The Department administers the Food Safety Program.

The following facilities, according to notifications from the Office of Environmental Health, failed to obtain an operating permit in October. Businesses were given 30 days to pay refund fees and late fees.

Establishments operating without a license in Las Cruces in October were:

  • Chavira’s Mobile, 5702 Bataan Memorial E.
  • Mesa Middle School, 7225 Jornada Road. N.
  • Auberge La Quinta, 790 Avenue De Mesilla
  • Acai with Me, 3100 Doña Ana Road.

Other Doña Ana facilities operating without permits in October were:

  • Bar Corralito, 1200 Futurity Dr. in Sunland Park
