Vikrant Massey, whose film The Sabarmati Report recently hit the theatres, met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his residence in Lucknow. A photo of the two was also shared on the chief minister’s official Instagram page.

Vikrant Massey can be seen smiling brightly and donning a sweatshirt with the Sabarmati report written on it. The caption was written in Hindi. It read: “Film actor Shri @vikrantmassey today paid a courtesy visit to the Government House in Lucknow.” Here is the message:

The Sabarmati report recently received appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modiwho praised him for “revealing the truth” behind the incident, adding that a “false narrative can only persist for a limited period of time.”

The film has also been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra, the film looks at the events surrounding the 2002 Godhra train fire, in which 59 passengers, including many Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya, were killed in a fire later determined to be a fire. act of arson.
