Media General Group Managing Director, Beatrice Agyemang, was crowned Female CEO of the Year at the recent edition of the Ghana Business Awards.

Ms. Beatrice Agyemang faced stiff competition from other women leaders of private and public institutions in Ghana to win the award.

This year’s edition of the Ghana Business Awards took place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

The Ghana Business Awards is a prestigious awards program that recognizes and rewards excellence across all sectors in the country.

The annual event also aims to celebrate achievements, innovation and genius within the Ghanaian business environment.

In September 2018, Béatrice Agyemang was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group General media4 which includes nine radio stations and two television channels in the Greater AccraAshanti and Western Regions as well as several other digital platforms.

Beatrice Agyemang, who has been with Media General for many years, has worked for the BBC, Sky TV, VOA and CNN.

In a Facebook post spotted by YEN.com.ghJournalist with Media General’s flagship channel TV3, Alfred Ocansey has praised Beatrice Agyemang for her stellar leadership.

Beatrice Agyemang and other Ghanaians honored

YEN.com.gh previously reported that Beatrice Agyemang and other Ghanaian personalities were honored in the 2023 edition. EMY Africa Prize.

The CEO of Media General was named Woman of the Year while her employee, Berla Mundi was voted Young Achiever of the Year.

Other personalities like Asamoah Gyan And Mohammed Kudus were also honored for their achievements during the period under review.
