Rumor has it that a Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim could battle the iPhone 17 Slim late next year

  • Samsung plans to launch a slim Galaxy S25 in mid to late 2025.

  • This claim is consistent with some of today’s most popular and widespread slimmer versions of modern flagships.

  • The success of the Galaxy slim could trigger big changes in the Galaxy S family.

Rumors are swirling that a Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim variant will follow months after the likely January release of Samsung’s next-generation flagship family, according to a leaker connected to Twitter. @Jukanlosreve. This exciting possibility comes months after rumors of an iPhone 17 Slim, and right after the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition suddenly launched in Korea just a few days ago. Depending on how Samsung’s potential slim model evolves, its 2026 high-end lineup could also see a big shake-up.

Thinner, lighter and more efficient

This is how manufacturers will continue to innovate

With the razor Honor the Magic V3 The most talked about foldable of the year, it’s clear where the smartphone hype train is headed. The Twitter leaker used unusually strong language to present the Galaxy Slim rumor, using the phrase “Samsung has decided to release a slim model” and leaving little room for doubt.

They then confirmed in the replies its potential identity as the Galaxy S25 FE, which is in dire need of a makeover after the less-than-stellar reception of the Galaxy S24 FE. The leak also mentioned the Exynos 2400 and an April deadline for the as-yet-unreleased skinny phone.

ET News of Korea, another popular source of hype around electronics giant Samsung, developed on “several industrial sources” as the origin of similar or even identical information. ET, however, cited the slim model’s arrival as “several months later” than the expected S25 flagship announcement in January 2025.

Both leaks hinted at the possibility of a major change to the Galaxy S lineup if the slimmer variant gets a foothold. This possibility is hardly surprising, after Samsung apologized for its recent lack of innovation. Additionally, a previous report from ET News claimed that the S Series brand might be about to come out.
