Mohamed Salah has been at the center of much discussion this season with his contract situation at Liverpool rumbling amid his continued incredible form.

Gary Neville suggested Mohamed Salah could allude to his Liverpool the future through his publications on social networks. Salah’s performances on the pitch have helped Liverpool move to the top of the table. Premier League And Champions League tables – but its uncertain future continues to be a hot topic of conversation.

Despite ongoing discussions over a possible new deal for Salah, as well as Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold whose contracts also end in the summer of 2025, fans are wondering if their future lies at Anfield.

The 32-year-old’s winning goal against the Seagulls propelled Liverpool above Manchester City in the rankings. It’s a victory he commemorated on Instagram with the words: “The top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less. All teams win games but there is only one champion to the end. That’s what we want.


“Thank you for your support last night. Whatever happens, I will never forget the feeling of scoring at Anfield.” The last section of his message was highlighted as particularly thought-provoking by Neville while speaking to Rebecca Lowe on the latest episode of the It’s called football podcast.

The Manchester United icon gave his take on Salah’s comments, saying: “I thought he would leave about three, four, five years ago; I didn’t think he would score the goals that “He scored this time and he would be just as brilliant.” as he did.

“I don’t know, is he sending them a message because he wants a golden package to stay, and he’s the one saying, ‘You better like me the same way the players were valued in other clubs’.

“He already has a big salary, but is he saying: ‘Give me the length and value of the contract that I deserve for what I have done for this club and let the fans know that I I’m not quite happy.’ but I’m happy.”


Salah first spoke publicly about his contract following Liverpool’s emphatic win over United in September, when he shared with Sky Sports: “As you know, this is my last year at the club.

“I just want to enjoy it, I don’t want to think about it. I feel free to play football and let’s see what happens next year.”

He has indeed been on fire for the Reds this season, scoring nine times and providing nine assists in 16 appearances in all competitions. He scored twice as Liverpool made it four wins from four in Europe with a 4-0 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
