Bangladesh’s presidential palace has been under siege for three days. The student protesters attempted to storm the palace on Tuesday evening, and have been camped around the grounds ever since. The students demanded the departure of the Bangladeshi president. The students had also made several other demands, including banning the Chhatra League, which is the student wing of Sheikh Hasina’s party, the Awami League. Are students now dictating government policy in Bangladesh?
