Outspoken journalist and entertainment expert Sally Frimpong Mann has responded to the criticism she frequently encounters from the public, refuting claims that she seeks attention or thrives on controversy. In an interview with Graphic Showbiz on November 19, 2024, she characterized herself as a fearless truth-teller in a pretentious industry.
“There are too many hypocrites in the business who only tell the truth in front of the cameras, that’s why people have problems with me,” Mann said. She clarified that her courageous actions are motivated by her commitment to honesty rather than personal grudges against a famous person. She added unrepentantly: “If you’re a celebrity and you don’t want to be talked about, then go hide under a bed.”
Noting the attention her comments have garnered, she also highlighted how her influence in the industry has grown. I consider myself the current queen of the entertainment industry in Ghana.
