Rubio Tells Democrats to Fire Their Pollsters for Getting Hispanic Voters Wrong: ‘They Don’t Know Jack’

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said Democrats should “fire” their analysts and pollsters who unfortunately dropped the ball on Hispanic and Latino voters after President-elect Donald Trump saw a higher participation than expected of the key demographic group.

My free advice to Democrats is to fire all these consultants, pollsters and so-called experts who gave you advice on how to reach the Hispanic vote because they don’t know Jack, okay? Rubio Thursday on “America Reports.”

“The truth is that Hispanic voters are not in favor of illegal immigration, they are not in favor of uncontrolled immigration into our country, they are not in favor of allowing criminals to roam our streets and kill, murder, rape. “Voters are not in favor of high prices that make life unaffordable, and they are not in favor of policies that send our jobs to other countries,” he continued.

“That’s it. And you know what? Neither do most Americans,” Rubio said. “So here’s the headline: Hispanics, Hispanic Americans are Americans, and they believe and feel these issues like all Americans feel, and I think that extends to other communities as well.”

Hispanic and Latino voters played a significant role in Trump’s election victory, beating expectations with stronger-than-expected turnout for the Republican nominee. Trump has gained 10 points of support in majority-Hispanic states since 2020, according to the report. New York Times reported.

Republicans highlighted the importance of Trump’s flip of Florida’s Miami-Dade County, one of the nation’s largest Latino communities, winning it by about 2% more than President Biden did in 2020.

The Cuban-American lawmaker from Miami said it largely comes down to a question of policy for Hispanic voters, who share the priorities of “ordinary Americans.” Democrats were totally out of touch with the needs of Americans heading into the election, Rubio argued, adding that Hispanic and Latino voters didn’t give a damn about Puerto Rican superstars Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez’s support for Harris when they were worried. for their safety and to pay their bills on time.

“Our primary identity is not the color of our skin, it’s not our ethnicity, it’s how we live our lives every day, and that’s difficult for ordinary people. So yes, they had all these amazing supporters… Bad Bunny did it I didn’t keep her promises for Kamala Harris, okay Jennifer Lopez didn’t keep her promises for Kamala Harris because the average voter, even in? the Hispanic community, listens to this guy’s music, but he doesn’t care what he thinks about it because he doesn’t have to pay the bills he has to pay,” he said. .

“No one’s going to murder him (Bad Bunny), an illegal immigrant… but they worry about it because they’re coming into their communities. I think this is proof of that, and you see it unfold.”

“Migrants are coming to their neighborhoods. They’re not in Beverly Hills watching a PBS documentary on this topic. They’re living it every day,” Rubio added.
