Thank you for the excellent article on the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be secretary of the United States Department of Health and social services (November 16). It was a very balanced presentation with input from knowledgeable people.

I think it’s possible that RFK could do important and positive things in this position if the Trump administration allows it. There are very powerful financial interests that will oppose much of what he wants to accomplish, so I am skeptical.

Time will tell.
