Missing woman found dead in her Philadelphia garage

Police have issued a missing person’s report for Ivelisse Lugo, 51, in. around 9:40 a.m. Sunday, according to 6ABC And CNB10.

She was last seen around 8:15 a.m. Saturday at her residence in the 5900 block of Elsinore Street, police said. Her daughter was going door to door asking neighbors if they had seen her, 6ABC reported.

When police returned to Lugo’s home around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, they found his body in the garage, wrapped in a blanket and towel. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said Lugo was stabbed multiple times. No weapons were found at the scene.

In the initial missing persons report, it was believed that Lugo might have been with her ex-husband. Although his name has not been released, police said he owned a 2006 Chevy Express pickup truck with Pennsylvania license plate #ZRR-4023, with a cross on the rear door.
