Patna: South Central University of Bihar (CUSB) is calling for online applications for admission to its doctoral programs starting January 2025. The deadline for applications is November 17.
According to CUSB PRO Mohd Mudassir Alam, the university has invited applications for a total of 253 seats in 22 subjects: bioinformatics, biotechnology, environmental sciences, life sciences, geology, geography, physics, chemistry, mathematics , statistics, computer science, physical education, law. , Hindi, English, psychology, commerce, pharmacy, sociology, political science, history and economics.
Only candidates qualified for UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR and NET/GATE/CEED scholarship and similar national level tests will be eligible for admission to PhD programs on the basis of interview as per the ‘UGC (Minimum Standards and Regulations on the Procedure for Award of Doctorate), 2022.
The list of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be declared on November 20. Document verification and interview of candidates will be held on November 28-29. The list of selected candidates will be published on December 6. Candidates will need to submit their admission fee between December 6 and 10. The final list of students admitted to the university’s doctoral programs will be published on December 16. Classes will start on January 2.
