‘Stop picking on dramatic players’ – Palworld Community Manager on Fans’ Claims That Pokémon Was Snubbed at The Game Awards

The nominees for Game rewards were revealed earlier this week, and some World Pal fans are upset that the game didn’t catch a single one.

It’s another year, another Game Awards where we all voice our opinions on which games were and weren’t nominated for anything, despite the fact that the entire series didn’t is just a glorified advertising reel. This time around, one of the big games that seems a bit absent is Palworld, the gun-toting Pokémon game that came out in January and was more successful than most people thought possible. However, popularity isn’t a good thing, as Palworld didn’t receive a single nomination at this year’s Game Awards, not even in a category like Best Current Game, and this lack of representation has led some fans to claim that the game was snubbed.

Does the Palworld community manager agree? It turns out that, as spotted PC gamerapparently not. “No, I don’t think Palworld was snubbed,” the game’s community manager John Buckley wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Twitter has become such a banal place. Stop picking on drama players. Not everything is a conspiracy.” He’s not wrong to say that Twitter or the players are being a bit dramatic, but unfortunately, I don’t think a single tweet is going to change either of those things anytime soon. However, Buckley did make one complaint: “That being said… Satisfactory has been 1000% snubbed and I will be expressing that opinion ad nauseam at The Game Awards in person.” Tell them, Buckley!

For now, I’m sure this developer Pocket pair has more important concerns on his mind. Last September, Nintendo finally filed a lawsuit against the developer. patent infringement claimswhich isn’t exactly where most of us expected. Pocketpair offered an update on this earlier this monthwhere it details which patents are allegedly infringed, also noting that it “will continue to assert its position in this matter through future legal proceedings.”
