A disturbing clip is circulating online showing community members taking matters into their own hands against a foreign trader.

The group is depicted expressing their displeasure with a local outlet by apparently forcing its owner to eat infested worms. food.

Anti-crime activist Yusuf Abramjee shared the 138 seconds videowhich begins with community members confronting the store owner.

According to their claims, the spoiled solids cooked at home business would have been knowingly served to customers.

The person filming and a second man speaking off-camera, alleging female customers became ill after eating the food.

“Russell, there you go. Russell! Russell, you’re going to eat it. Akere, that’s what you sell to people. Eat it, Russell… pick it up, eat your food.”

Residents accuse the man named Russell of failing to inspect the food being served and one in particular can even be heard threatening violence against him.

“You’re busy selling rotten food to our people. Russell, eat your trash… eat your food. Eat your worms! Here come the worms.”

The person filming holds their phone up to what appears to be a piece of chicken, and worms can be seen crawling on the meat.

“They ate it, they ate it! These ladies ate it. Eat it, Russell! Russell, you’re going to eat it!” They continue to bark.

“He baba, pick up some food. Boss, I say eat it. Eat it!”

The store owner can be heard apologizing profusely, saying he didn’t notice the food was covered in worms before serving it.

“I didn’t see it. I didn’t see that one.”

The man who yells at him to eat responds angrily.

“I don’t want to touch you, do I! If I can touch you, I’ll make mincemeat for you. You’ll be done!”

The man starts to eat and informs them that it is not good.

The clip has garnered nearly 140,000 views since it was posted online on Wednesday November 6, 2024 and sparked numerous reactions.
